St Catherines Hill, the highest point in Christchurch, treats residents to breath-taking panoramic vistas and serves as a popular destination for mountain biking, dog walking, and hiking enthusiasts. Just a short stroll from the house lies the quaint St Catherines Hill shopping area, featuring a local convenience store, pet shop, butchers, and a cosy rustic cafe/bar. Families with children will appreciate the nearby River Way playground, providing a fun play area. Christchurch Quay, a short drive away, offers access through to the riverside walks, park, cafe, Boathouse Restaurant, bandstand, childrens play area and an exciting water play park and paddling pool which has many interactive features including water jets and sprays, a water play pump and wheel, channels and sluices as well as a paddling pool.
